Bull-headed CIA agent Stan Smith is constantly at odds with his family and life in Langley Falls, a fictional town in Virginia. American Dad! is an animated series featuring the animated adventures of CIA operative Stan Smith and his family: wife Francine, daughter Hayley and son Steve. Other characters include Roger, the sarcastic space alien who lives in a cupboard, Klaus, the family's lovable goldfish with the brain of a German Olympic skier and Francine's twin brother (also played by Seth MacFarlane), Hayley's boyfriend Jeff Fischer and Stan's boss at the CIA.




American Dad! is the latest animated series from Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy, and it debuted on FOX in 2005. With its variety show format, like Family Guy and other MacFarlane productions, American Dad! features a wide array of characters, each with extensive backstory: Stan and Fran Smith (and their daughter Hayley and son Steve), Roger the Alien, Klaus Heissler (a German-speaking, goldfish-headed CIA agent), and Avery Bullock (Stan's CIA boss, who introduced Klaus). The show also features voice talent from guest stars (like Jane Lynch), recurring cast members (like Patrick Stewart), and animation veterans (such as Wally Wingert).



American Dad is a Smith family of six. Husband and father of two children teaching at the CIA in the family. Consists of wife, Francine, teenage daughter, Hayley, junior high son Steve, and the goldfish with human brain Walt Klaus Stan for a lost Austrian ski jumping champion. Due to various accidents that temporarily lost Roger abduct extraterrestrial Stan loyalty and enthusiasm for American society as an integral part of his policy sidekick CIA. While humor elements include abnormality Stan's extreme political beliefs (for example, a Republican executioner), and reach even more obvious than their child-like behavior.

CIA agent Stan Smith is constantly fighting off terrorists who threaten the safety of the USA (sometimes causing more harm than good). His wife Francine is an average house wife with two kids, Hayley, Stan's only daughter, an average rebellious teenager and Steve, Stan's only son, a geek who enjoys Dungeons and Dragons, gaming and comic book conventions. Then there's Roger, the home's alien who Stan houses and tries to pass off as a crazy person. Stan's boss Avery Bullock, runs the CIA.
