American Dad is a Fox animated series created by Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy.

 




American Dad! is the eight-hundred-pound gorilla of adult animated sitcoms. For nine years, co-creators Matt Weitzman and Mike Barker, along with executive producer Seth MacFarlane, have been delivering laughs that are equally irreverent and heartfelt. The show follows ultra-right wing CIA agent Stan Smith and his hilariously odd family in Langley Falls, Virginia. In addition to Stan's wife and teenage children, the Smith household has two rather unconventional members.




 There's Roger, the sardonic space alien who Stan rescued from Area 51 who deeply resents that he's not allowed to leave the house (not to mention drink, smoke and drive). Then there's Klaus a lascivious, German-speaking goldfish; as the result of a CIA experiment gone seriously wrong that left him trapped in a fish body (much like Roger).

Meet the Smith family: Stan, Francine, Steve, Hayley and Klaus. When they're not trying to save the country from terrorist attacks, Stan's busy wagging his finger and telling everyone how they should live. Then there's Roger the alien, who is always up for anything (especially mischief). Despite it all, the Smiths make time for each other with sarcastic remarks and quick jokes. It's American Dad!

American Dad!, the newest and hottest animated show on Fox, is an irreverent skewering of all things sacred. They are the Smith family: Stan, Francine, Hayley, Steve and a talking goldfish named Klaus. Stan is a CIA agent painfully dedicated to homeland security. His home-life includes doting wife Francine, a ditzy housewife, liberal daughter Hayley and socially awkward teenaged son Steve. Also living in the family's Langley Falls, VA home are two rather unconventional members



 Roger is a sarcastic space alien who rescued Stan from Area 51, who Stan keeps locked in the attic as he would be considered an illegal immigrant if reported; and Klaus is an evil German/Mexican (by way of Texas) speaking goldfish with the brain of an East German Olympic ski jumper.
